Clinical Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of treatment that is used to treat many common illnesses and diseases, as well as difficult and painful conditions. It involves inserting very thin needles through a person’s skin at specific points on the body, to various depths with the aim of balancing their energy. It aims to relieve pain, such as headaches, help conditions such as blood pressure and can help boost wellbeing.

The acupuncture which I use is a modern implementation of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, using the best and most commonly used Acupuncture Points alongside the Traditional Chinese Medicine Theories of Yin and Yang, Zang Fu and the 5 Elements.

Acupuncture points are places where nerves, muscles, and connective tissue can be stimulated. The stimulation increases blood flow, while at the same time triggering the activity of the body’s natural painkillers.
